In this video we continue our experiments running a small two stroke engine/electric generator on biogas from kitchen garbage. We learn that the in-line air compressor oilers do not seem to work well and that oiling through the spark plug port to the crankshaft doesn't work for more than a few minutes at a time. We also learn that we can get about 3 minutes of engine time from less than 100 liters of biogas, suggesting that the 1000 liter units in Cairo will give a half an hour. We will verify this when we get to Cairo, using a 4 stroke engine that doesn't suffer lubrication issues. We would still like to know how to get lubrication to a two stroke however, because they are the major engine type in the developing world. Suggestions are invited.
